My boyfriend and i don't see each other very much, is he "just not into me?"?

I've been dating my boyfriend for 4 and a half months and everything is great when we're together. He treats me great and I know he likes me a lot but we've only ever seen each other at most two times a week most weeks. He does work about 36 hours a week and he is taking summer classes plus he's flunked out of university and is now at community college. His dad pays for it so he restricts him to a 10 o'clock curfew, no texting after ten either because his gpa went down. The thing is that he has more evenings where he could see me but video games take over. He texts me while he plays but I just don't get how he can want to be with me, buy me nice gifts, take me out occasionally but then be home most of the time doing that. He tells me I'm gorgeous and is always understanding but I have not told him of my unhappiness. I just wish he would desire to be closer... and I know he doesn't have much relationship experience but he enthusiastically began being exclusive so I don't get it..
